Oase Garni Guest House

Overview

ID A358
Type Guest Houses
Location Kamanjab
The Guesthouse has been part of our family since 1998 and proudly the first accommodation establishment in the town of Kamanjab, serving mainly local travelling businessmen and government officials with business in the local villages and surrounding area. This building was originally used as a grocery and clothing store from 1958 to the mid 1970’s and also as offices for the United Nations during Namibia’s Independence before being converted into an overnight facility with a bar and restaurant. Directly translated from Otji-Herero, Kamanjab means Rock and even with a population of around 6012 people within the town and the surrounding farmlands, Kamanjab is still classified as a village. As our town serves as a gateway to Etosha, the coast and Damara & Kaokoland, we are proud to have the privilege of welcoming you to our town and hope that your stay with us will be a comfortable and enjoyed experience. Please do not hesitate to ask any travel advice or information on activities. We will do our best to assist you in making your journey through our beautiful country a magical and adventurous experience! Blessings for may Safe Travels!
